How to Install CWM – ClockworkMod Recovery on Android

There is many way for each different devices to install CWM Recovery. If you have a supported Android device, you can simply do this:

  1. Install ROM Manager by ClockworkMod in Google Play Store. Here is the link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.koushikdutta.rommanager
  2. After installing, open the application, and select ‘Flash ClockworkMod Recovery’. If your device is supported, it will install CWM automatically. If your device unsupported, ROM Manager will ask you “Have you install CWM manually?’. This means you have to install CWM manually.
  3. If you need to access CWM Recovery, you can simply open ROM Manager and select Reboot into Recovery.

  1. if my device is not supported cwm, what can i do sir? my phone model MID kernel 3.0.8, maybe its not official brand and its chinese firmware, can you help me out how can i install cwm or xrecovery manually. tq
